About the Role:
As a Telemedicine Physician, you will provide virtual consults and follow-up care to patients nationwide. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong written communication skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality care and documentation using the Athena EMR system. You will collaborate with other providers and support staff to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.
Supervision of nurse practitioners is NOT required in this role.
This position reports directly to the Medical Director

Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct virtual consultations and follow-up visits for acute and chronic illnesses
– Diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of patient conditions
– Collaborate with nurse practitioners and other providers as clinical colleagues (without supervisory responsibility)
– Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation in Athena EMR
– Participate in quality improvement initiatives
– Educate patients on health management and preventive care

Qualifications:
– MD or DO, board certified in a relevant specialty
– Active medical license in at least one U.S. state (multi-state licensure preferred)
– Experience in telemedicine or virtual care strongly preferred
– Experience with Athena EMR preferred, but not required (training provided)
– Excellent written communication skills
– Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
– Comfortable using telehealth technology
– Ability to work remotely and manage time independently
– Availability to work at least some Saturdays is required; candidates unable to work Saturdays will be de-prioritized
